Hiya @strongylodon, I've never had one of those in my garden sadly. I wonder if you're thinking of Joolz68?

As it happens, I was eyeing a bottle brush shrub up a few weeks back at one of my local nurseries but wasn't too sure if it was hardy enough for where I'd want to site it.

 

Slight mix up there. The common red Bottlebrush is hardy down to -8c without damage but some of the others less so

 

Us wanderers eventually come home

I do @strongylodon and the red ones are flowering lovely this week,the pallidus and other yellow one finished a couple of week back,so thankful for the seeds xx
