I finally seem to have found a Cotswold hardy Watsonia - Watsonia pillansii...........

A seed grown Lilium formosanum var.Pricei............

The seed was sown fresh in autumn 2017, left outdoors all winter to germinate in spring 2018.

Perki, yes Mango. I have Orange Vanilla too, which I prob prefer, and others in the popsickle series
      All good though :)
Nice Watsoni longk....had a white variety that bloomed earlier and a peach promising to flower :)

@KFF is that rose 'Marjorie Fair' in your post #87 please?

I planted three earlier in the year which are now blooming. I've allowed for the fact they are young plants but the flowers are no more than an inch across and I'm really disappointed. Yours look bigger than that. Have I been conned perhaps?

717D96F8-1374-412E-9F04-D435694C6504.jpeg Back from the beach now but the mizzle overnight has made the garden sparkle....so it’s the freshness of it all that looks good right now:)

Further to Perki’s question, this is Orange Vanilla. Somewhat later than Mango this year for some reason but will make just as good an impact

They will take a year to get established, so be patient.
I've got roses that i planted last year in November and the blooms are small.

I bought Zantedeschia 'Memories' in the end of season sale last year and it has proven hardy in a large pot and multiplied. The flowers (spathes if we are to be totally correct) are to all intents and purposes a proper black.........
[IMG]Zantedeschia 'Memories' by longk48, on Flickr

It also has a deep purple tinge to the foliage............

I planted a Passiflora 'Amethyst' in my parents garden last summer and it survived!

Hi Sheal , it does have small flowers, perhaps an inch or inch and half across but what they lack in size they make up for in numbers. Each cluster can have 30 to 40 flowers. It's also a good doer, lasting from April through to December.
Ours is used as ground cover as it crawls along but doesn't go rampant.
It's about 3 years old now, cost £1.50 from Aldi's so persevere with it it's worth it.

This is just one branch of it to show you the clusters.

                    Fantastic Rhubarb there @joolz68

Antirrhinum I grew from seed. A bit ‘weedy’, but a nice bit of colour...

Thank you @KFF. :) I will have to move them from their current situation, they are too small both in flower and plant size and look totally lost. Even fully grown they are not going to disguise my oil tank.

                        They look lovely!

If you think yours are weedy then you should see mine......but you won't as they are too embarrassingly awful this year!
