I'm lucky enough to be a short drive away from Wollerton Old Hall Gardens, located in Wollerton, Market Drayton, England and have been a couple of times this year. It's a stunning place, the gardens are inspirational and so full of colour. I've also made enquiries about volunteering there.
Hope you enjoy the pictures of my latest visit.

Thanks for sharing joolz , I really like the yew pyramids and hedges . I don't think the stachys byzantina works with the pink roses though :noidea:.

                Many thanks for sharing.
I have visited some local NT gardens with my daughter and grand kids.. Great, a day out and despite Amanda's disabilities it has been, lets push on. Me! I so often wish I could sit, if allowed. Amongst the plants, to in a sense drift back to the past when these gardens were first designed and planted, why? because I tend to view, music, art and horticulture as being avenues by which our predecessors have attempted to put into gardens, paintings, music etc how they viewd and appreciated the world around them. Sadly, so often. A simple day out doesn't allow that, such a shame.

@JWK It really is something, it always catches my breath when I walk around there. They also have a small plant sale area with specimens that they've grown on site. The plants are always superb. They vary from visit to visit, but Salvias seem to be a speciality of theirs. Well worth a trip if you do come this way. David Austin Roses is close too. Mind you, it's a bit too close to me as I'm only 5 mins away from it! lol

You know, I hadn't even noticed I'd captured a chap walking through it, but no, he's not my hubster. I am taking him there in a week or so, so I'll get him to walk through the gate and take a piccy, lol..

I'm also tickled pink, I've been invited by the head gardener to have an afternoon working alongside him, as I'd enquired about volunteering. I'm going on July 16th so I'll let you all know how I get on! I'm a little excited!

                            Just a heads up.
Gardeners World is featuring this beautiful garden on their programme tonight. It's on tonight, rather than Friday as Golf is airing that day.
