Morning everyone.
...we had a little rain during the night!!

Well yesterday was a busy one, saw my Dad and pulled up more of the plants that I had planted.....not watered and completely frazzled!!. Kept telling him not to have so many pots and planters, but nope he said he would water them!


Spent a couple of hours at the hospital visiting my sister, who looked remarkably good and chilled.......think the morphine might have played a big role in that somehow.

Hubs has an appointment this morning and after that I am trying to persuade him to a trip out somewhere as it's his birthday, but as the weather has turned slightly he's not too keen.

We shall see, what will be will be!

Woke up to slightly different weather.......rain overnight and now. Quite heavy too. Quite happy to see it, for the garden, but the was very enjoyable almost every day

I am expecting a delivery of colocasia Black Magic .....for some reason the colocasia I have is the green one, esculenta, and not what I had initially ordered. A replacement on its way.

Too wet for a swim today :rasp:

We too had a little rain overnight but once again nothing of any significance in the butts and scratching the soil revealed it's still dry underneath. A downpour is heading our way for later this morning, so please save a bit for me please @Verdun

Fingers crossed that my sister might be discharged today ..but there is a possibility it could be tomorrow as she ended up have an evening surgery slot.

My bags are packed ready for the off. Think it could be a tough ride ahead.....for both of us!!

 

Of course Upsy....I will send as much rain as I can to you!

Morning everyone!

Didn't get much sleep, but then I think you seldom do on your first night in a different bed. Very warm and muggy night here last night, which didn't help matters.

All is quiet, so I don't want to disturb things.
Not sure what today will bring, my sister is a tv fan , which of course is all that she can do at the moment, so I am desperately going to miss being outside. She has a tiny garden which she has filled with pots ,which is ideal for her and her severe arthritis.

The rain has cleared and the day promises a lot better than yesterday....although the rain has done a lot of good for the garden

Will see my brother in hospital this morning....similar to you Upsy.....and take things from there

The sun has begun to peep through the clouds intermittently, at least with the recent rains I won't have to worry about my plants. Hubs is very good but does tend to miss a few out when watering.

 

Have to say looking at my tablet through a cracked screen is very upsetting!
