    Hi @cindy - yes, they are not 'instant' like some ebayers, but my order came reasonably.

      I’ve just accepted my first order from Secret Garden.

      Order placed at 9pm Monday, plants received at 11am Wednesday. I ordered enough plants to get the premiere 1-2 day delivery... I know that 18 plants will be pushing my luck with my garden soil, but come 1st November, I might not be able to transport them back to Belgium. So I need to get them through the tunnel before then....

      I was delighted with most of them, but the three Festuca glauca looked really sick. Brown, and waterlogged soil, very little sight of growth. I took a photo, and emailed it at 2.30 - and had been refunded by 3pm. As my hubby said, their swift response to a complaint is as good a recommendation as the 15 healthy plants...

      I would order from then again.

          My Gardening Express order hasn't moved from two weeks ago. Luckily I'm in no hurry for the plants.

          I've ordered lots of plants from Ebay sellers and I've never been let down with quality or speed of delivery.
          My Elephant Ears Black Magic turned up in two days and is looking great.

            I've ordered a few items from Suttons seeds recently. A mix of seeds and plants. The strawberry plants took a little longer than expected, but were well packaged when they arrived with a small amount of soil on the roots, covered in plastic bag and secured with elastic band. Plants seemed good quality and so far are doing okay in the pots I've planted them in.

            I've had a mixed experience with Marshalls.

            I ordered a herb trio of plants, which were packaged together. 1 plant was okay, 1 was near death and died within a couple of days, and the 3rd wasn't in the pot at all. There was a clump of dead leafy stuff at the bottom which I think was the third plant, possibly also part of the second. They refunded me quickly and without fuss, but it's still a disappointment.

            The raspberry bush I ordered from them arrived on its side in its box. Undamaged though thankfully.

            David Austin were fantastic, no problems at all ordering bareroot roses from them. A year and a half on and they're happy and blooming regularly.

                Update:
                I ordered 30 strawberry plugs from Marshalls a while ago. They arrived today, shoved in a Jiffy bag. Every single plant is brown and rotting. There's mould in the middle. Pieces are broken off. There's nothing salvageable in there. I'm angry and disappointed, and I won't be buying from Marshalls again.

                    @Sheal

                    The slight rip in the box at the bottom was caused by me when investigating the thickness of the box
                    upload_2020-7-14_18-26-20.png

                    A sharp knife soon cut through the box which was a thick cardboard and protected the plant very well as there was no damage to the plant whatsever.:hapydancsmil:

                      Oooooo a box containing goodies! :biggrin: It all looks good to me and the plant looks healthy so a thumbs up for 'Ornamental Trees'. :blue thumb: Thanks for letting me know @ARMANDII. I now need to work out what I want, having changed my mind after looking at the site a few weeks back.
