          The heavy thundery rain never appeared yesterday which was rather unusual but here's something which might help the BBC weather forecasters; it's the location of Huddersfield because they don't appear to know where Huddersfield is by the number of wrong forecasts they make for us.

                      I used to explain it to my mother, who was upset about forgetting things, and told her that the brain was like a bucket of water. It got full up with information and so the last things to come in were the ones that fell out and got lost. :blue thumb:

                          Well said; hang on I need to scroll up because I've forgotten your name; yes well said Sandy; I too can remember very small details from over 60 years ago but find it difficult now to remember things I did a few minutes ago and I'm not kidding. When I visit the three supermarkets twice weekly I take along a list of items I need from each; I'm OK when I go out in the car because all I need to do is select "Home"? :biggrin:
