I’m off to get my husband his Anniversary card today and wrapping paper, it will be our 11th Anniversary on the 12th Sept, the meaning this year is stainless steel so I’ve ordered him a special present

Later I will be cutting our lawn, after all the rain everything has grown massively

Morning all! Lovely sunny day and blue skies here.....and FROST! Ugh!

Just done a little check of my greenhouse and cuttings etc...all ok. My heater came on in the night so all ok!

I personally think Sky are Ok @moyra and they are quick to sort out a problem ( once you can get hold of them ). It's hubs...he likes to have a change every so often!!

Frost @Snorky85 !!!!! Summer has well and truly gone then.....oh how I dislike autumn and winter...think I suffer from SAD. Our eldest has one of those white light lamps....but even he's not too convinced by them.

But....at this point in time we have brilliant sparkly sunshine.....and for all day long today

Moyra we have had sky for 11 years, if you ever have a problem they normally sort it fast.

Hi Snorky, I’m guessing you live at the north end, frost hey, I hate winter, don’t mind autumn apart from slippery wet leaves

Upsydaisy I think I get SAD especially when the winter drags on, my favourite time of year is spring when everything is coming to life , I always book a few days off in March when it’s my birthday and so far we always get a sunny day

Hi @Flumpy no i live down in bucks! We couldnt believe the frost-husband went outside to actually check it was frost! Warming up lovely out there now though.

 

Wow that’s crazy, I live in Lancashire but there where no frost, that makes a change, sunshine here too, I’ve just been lopping my tree in the front garden, it was getting a bit big for its boots, I’ve seen a couple of autumn leaves on it : (, hope you have a nice day

 

I'm lopping and chopping too....not too sure if what I'm doing is correct though. Thinking on the lines of a garden make over, not that anyone will really see any difference...well if I don't stop chopping and chucking they might!!

 

Ps....my favourite time is Spring too. Can't get my head around people saying that Autumn is great....yes for a couple of weeks the leaves look pretty, but after that it just reminds me of death and decay..and Winter is just too grim for words.

 

Upsydaisy don’t worry, it’s the first time I’ve had to lop my tree, I was told at the garden centre that it grows to 6foot, it is now about ten foot , I bought it for our small front garden.

I’ve put some pictures of my flowers today on “what’s looking good in September”
