I live in northern Ireland. I have a rainbow eucalyptus tree in an air pot. I think it's 75l. I bought it as a 36 inch sapling online.
It is now at least 6ft after 3 years. It surprised me by surviving the snow 2 years ago without any protection. It is doing its first peeling. No dramatic colour, just maroon on the new growth peeling to beige.
I can't find ANY information on growing this tree in the UK apart from advice that it won't survive.
Has anyone else tried this tree?

:sign0016: MARIE BENTON. I have never heard if it either ... here where Eucalyptus are plentiful, but we are not in the rain forests. Looks lovely. Maybe this may help ...

Mine has survived deep snow. A lot hardier than I expected.

Its a fair size Marie, looks healthy enough, where did you get it from?

I'm not convinced that it is, or not, the rainbow eucalyptus, as most, I find, shed bark every year.

I bought it from an online garden centre in the US.
It doesn't peel until it's big enough. I think it grows a good bit slower in this climate.
