    Stop press...

"British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has likened himself to The Incredible Hulk, saying "the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets" as he stressed his determination to take Britain out of the European Union with or without a deal on October 31."

That's what we need right now - a super hero....

Great isn't it when things get taken out of context by the Press eager to belittle and undermine a Prime Minister in a time of History and Crisis, is able to generate negative thoughts in the minds of pro BREXIT Believers............Campaign Fear and divide working at it's insiduous best.:wallbanging::doh:

Lib send have nothing to lose by declaring for the reversal of A50; I don't see it as alienating or ignoring 52% of the population, more of believing that people have changed their minds. Money where their mouth is time. No-one expects the yellows to win so if they bet the farm and win they'll be ecstatic and if they lose they just shrug and just another day.
What I can't understand is how a conservative can shift allegiance to Lib dem. Unless they never believed in conservatism in the first place then to me it's an impossible shift

You don't??? If that 52% who voted to leave were told to forget it as their votes didn't matter, the outcome of the Referendum didn't matter? that they the Lib Dems were the Party to vote for because they, as a Political Party, knew what was right and that the Public didn't, that wouldn't alienate them??:dunno::scratch:

            IF.
The Lib Dem’s believe the populace has changed their minds. It’s been 3 years of constant political bs so they reckon on people being fed up and wanting the status quo back or whatever. It doesn’t matter, the Lib Dem’s have as clear a direction as the tories and are betting on it. If the voters have changed their minds then it won’t alienate them but yeah, some people will have their noses put out if joint. I guess we’ll get to find out soon enough! I like the strategy as you know what they’re for, unlike the reds who just cannot give a clear idea of whatever the heck they’re planning.

To be honest, Loofah, because of the rising contempt and the catastrophic drop in "status" of all Political Parties and MP's, I think that, now we're in the very last stages of BREXIT, with the clock ticking down, the attitude hardened to "let's just get it over and leave" and that the Lib Dems are backing a 3 legged horse......but as you say, we'll see. One thing is sure that when a General Election is called, and it will be, then all major Political Parties will suffer, while perhaps the minor parties will benefit. But that would increase the chance of a Hung Parliament, which would be unhelpful should BREXIT occur.

                Christ please no hung parliament!!!
More than anything at the moment I want the fiasco over but to end in a hung parliament would be the pits. Natural progression from this situation though I guess. Still say locking them all in a room for 5 weeks is the better option.

The Brexit party are playing a blinder here. Staying in the shadows while the other partys are making fools of themselves.

Nigel will pop up like a cat amongst the pigeons and they will be slain....

No opinion one way or another but just a question (sitting on this fence is getting quite uncomfortable ).

I heard an interview with the Lib Dem leader (I think) saying that she thinks it deplorable that the government didn't explain, before the referendum, the possible problems with Brexit. Somehow, I can't seem to remember the Lib Dems saying anything about it either . Am I wrong?

I agree to a point, WeeTam, but the problem is that the Cat can only eat a certain amount of Pigeons and actually might increase the likelyhood of a Hung Parliament whereas what we need is a pro-BREXIT Party with a working majority, which we don't have at the moment.:wallbanging::dunno::coffee:
