What a great weekend we've just had , the weather was perfect!

Off to the cinema at lunchtime to see Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

We're predicted a cloudy miserable day which is great because I have repairs to do indoors and some reorganizing as well that must be tackled. The dispenser for the ice maker has dropped it's flipper and trigger so that finicky job needs doing and I have to re-grout the shower floor. Never done a grout job before but I've got my Dremel ready to grind out the old, cracked stuff and then go from there.

I hope everyone plays safe and that my day is productive so that I'm ready to be outside when the sun shines the rest of this week

A tad worried that we haven't heard from @moyra for nearly a week now and she never missed posting.Really hope that she and Amber are OK.

And also @Verdun has gone AWOL too, likewise I hope he and Nicko are Ok.

I like to think they are away on holiday...no, not together!! Well who knows!!!

 

Good morning
I got the work done but I have another full list for today. I also need to take a friend to their physiotherapy session this morning. It's not far from one of my favourite discount grocery stores so I'll do a little shopping whilst they are throwing themselves around.

Part of today's chore's are to get lots of peppers crushed. I got my ice cube trays at the dollar store so will crush the peppers, freeze and then put in bags. Then I only have to add a cube to each batch of dough for hot bread over the winter. And I can do the crushing outside and enjoy fresh air and not smell up the house at the same time

It is a clear sky out there and we are supposed to be up in the 70f range today. Which is great for puttering and I've got to get out a ladder to reach one area of the electric fence to fix it so a dry day is perfect.

I hope everyone has a good day like I'm thinking I'm about to experience

No really, think I will just dig them up and throw them in the bin, they seem to come from no where

So good to have you back with us but I am really saddened to hear you are in pain with your back and that your knee is still giving you trouble too....it's been a long time healing hasn't it. Take life easy, can someone walk Amber for you?

 

Thanks @Upsydaisy Steve, my son could if he wanted to but he doesn't and he thinks it is best for me if I keep going. I am cross with him because he knows I am in so much pain but he nags me all the time too, it is pulling me down. I wish he would move out and then I am sure I could cope better. Sorry, I shouldn't offload my problems on here, we all have our problems, I am no different. Take care of you. God bless. M xxx

 

More like nighty night now for any of you.

I had a busy day and started by loading up on a nice breakfast of fettuccine alfredo with chicken added for protein.

It's been a beautiful day here and I'm glad I spent most of it outdoors. I hope everyone here had a good day too and played safe.

@moyra I am sorry to hear that Steve won't walk Amber and perhaps you're right. It's time for him to take himself walkies to a new abode if he can't be helpful. I hope he gets poked with a conscience stick and steps up for you!
