44f early this morning with a heavy grey mist, (the first this year) and very little, if any, breeze. Right now the temperature is 56f, it's dry with no breeze, the skies are a misty blue and the pressure reading is 1011hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

        Hi,

Rather cool but a glorious morning here so far; no Blackie or Gale either which is ominous; Blackie's put some rain down at night but not given me a soaking for a few days which is worrying; it's strange being outside without getting wet. :)

Bron and I popped over to Hampsons GC in Wakefield first thing this morning and I'm just enjoying a mug of tea before digging up a small holly bush. A pair of blinkers would prove useful because every time I look around I find yet another job that needs doing.

Lovely morning for your walk Logan.

        Kind regards.

@Retired you can borrow my blinkers. At least I figure I must be wearing some because I keep missing bits and pieces here and there that need attention!

It is 57f at the moment. Clear skies and looking forward to a day in the 70's. I have a my final follow appointment for my left eye this morning and I sure hope the doctor isn't too far behind schedule because I don't want to waste a gorgeous day sitting in a waiting room :)

            Hi,

Thanks Lori it's kind of you. :)

I've just dug out another small holly bush; I think I've got them all but always seem to find another usually growing in a difficult place for access; you'll all be familiar with having worked from one end of the garden to the other end only to start all over again; fun innit.

Good luck with your appointment Lori it should be sorted out by now. :dbgrtmb:

            Kind regards, Colin.

Thanks Colin yes i had a nice walk this morning.

Very sunny and warm, hopefully we will get some rain next week, the garden really needs it very dry for this time of year.

Well, it started off very cool this morning, but the heavy mist burnt off and by midday the temperature had risen to 71f making it a very nice day. The skies have remained clear all day, with just enough breeze to make the Japanese Anemones nod to each other, but now the skies are starting to veil over with thin cloud from the West. The temperature now is 56f, it's still dry, and the pressure reading is 1009hpa.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

                                Hi,

On Sunday it returns to normal here Logan and I'm surprised Blackie & Gale have left me in peace for a few days but once Blackie starts to put rain down Gale usually joins in with at least a stiff breeze up the valley; for new members Blackie is my permanent personal black cloud and Gale is his sister who often tries to blow me over unless she's in a bad mood then she tries to remove our bungalow from the valley side.

I've already done the supermarket shopping and now I've got an appointment with my chainsaw; I'm about to attack our laurels again; I made a start on them yesterday afternoon so have a pile of brash ready for shredding; it never lets up with work but better busy than bored.

A cold morning at 7.5C but pleasant; I need to get cracking today and tomorrow before winter kicks in.

                                Kind regards, Colin.
