Solved Any idea?

    Any idea what this bush is? The height is about 50 cm and it has beautiful pinkish/red flowers which I seem to remember they are like little elongated clusters.
    Looking forward to identifying it so I can give it the ideal growing conditions...

      Not good on these but it looks likes ribes (currant) to me

        I agree with Mazambo, it looks like Flowering Ribes to me. and your description of the flower sounds just right.

            Yep, Ribes sanguineum. The species is a lovely shrub but quite short-flowering, couple of months max. Anyone know of a longer-flowering cultivar?
