Stop distracting me @Flumpy....I am supposed to be doing my Spring Cleaning this morning.....always do it in Autumn as there are seeds to sow and nurture in spring!

 

@Upsydaisy that is a good idea to deep clean in the fall because really, when you think about it, after that we're cooped up inside and it's best not to be in a dusty box.

It is sunny here again too. I've looked at the 14 day forecast and gradually the highs will be dropping down to 68f which is lovely for working around outside. This is a giant bonus to me because I'd like take my time and be thoughtful as I'm winding things down rather than having to rush around.

Yes exactly Lori, plus we always have all our doors and windows wide open and it's surprising what blows in!!! I've done our bedroom this morning, washed windows, nets and curtains , mattress is enjoying an airing outside,wiped over all the walls and paintwork. Vacuumed and polished. Will do another room tomorrow as we are finally forecast with some rain.

 

Sorry Upsydaisy, just been to visit my parents and sat in there lovely garden, then went to the cemetery and laid some new flowers, wish this weather was staying for the weekend

Yes it's very therapeutic, cleaning away the dust and debris from summer that find their way into the house. Knowing it will be clean to hibernate in is a nice feeling too.

Had a bit of rain last night but no where near as much as was predicted...and it's definitely looking brighter out there now. I thought we were in for a day of rain!

Have a relaxing day everyone, take it easy Moyra and soak up the peace and quiet! No need to rush doing chores, they can wait. Relax and rest up !

 

Morning @Flumpy!! House cleaning! Snap! Attacking the kitchen today!!

 

It’s stopped raining for a minute, my pansies in my plant pot look battered so I’m going to put it in the greenhouse , enjoy your cleaning and hope you don’t find any gremlins in the cupboard

 

@Upsydaisy @moyra - housecleaning snap snap - housecleaning, but doing most of the vacuuming on commercials. I do the quiet part, washing floors, cleaning windows, etc during the main program so I can listen to it and then the noisy vacuuming on the long commercial breaks. I cannot receive a signal for my beloved Corrie which I used to watch/listen to all 6 episodes on a Sunday morning whilst cleaning and baking so I watch in online during the week but now I've found a station where, on sunday mornings, there is a lovely Midsomer Mystery starting at 7:30 then at 10: a Maigret - all with long commercial breaks. Lots gets done this way

It is a bit cloudy today too so more puttering inside than out!

I'll just say nighty night. I see the "games" have started up hot and heavy again and since my style is to use the spy function, I'm going to avoid the repetitive one word posts by pretty much stopping my visits.

I will check in now and again, and will ALWAYS be thinking of everyone here in a kind way, but I just don't have time to sift through parlour games for posts from forum friends or about gardening discussions.
