Just got back from visiting my sister in hospital, all went well.:) Thankfully she is still on a lot of post surgery painkillers and that is definitely helping her through her days at the moment....troubles start as they wean her off of them.:yikes:

Maybe @Fat Controller might be able to advise - if he has time. I know he's very busy.

        Aloha everyone,

It has been a busy day. Took Mrs Shiney for her treatment and then this afternoon we've been picking apples. I've also been writing another quiz.

        Have a good evening.

I will always try where I can :)

@moyra - it sounds as though you have still got the Virgin account set up within Thunderbird, and the only way to get rid of it is by going into the settings and deleting it. How comfortable are you in altering settings within Thunderbird?

If you are not comfortable, there is a way that I can help you by remotely connecting to your computer (@shiney has experience of this), so don't worry, we have a few tricks up our sleeve to get your sorted :)

Just looking back at this, and thought I would add a general note - I am happy to help ANY and ALL members where I can, including making repairs to laptops, PC's and etc (I don't do phones or tablets) - in fact, there are quite a few things I can/will do or at least help with (including automotive bits).

For repairs, GC members pay NO labour charge - - donations to @shiney's charity are gratefully received if you so wish, and I am not offended by a bottle of something alcoholic, but other than that, it is a parts cost only basis.

If you own a Jaguar, Land Rover or Range Rover, I have the specific code reader that will plug into the vehicle for diagnostics and so on, and will help where I can with that too, even if it is only to try and help point you in the right direction.

Above all, just remember, if you don't ask.... you don't get. :)

Good morning everyone, thanks @Fat Controller I had someone look at it yesterday. They seem to have severed the link with virgin but its not perfect. I might have another go at it myself later.

Have a good day all keep warm and dry and above everything stay safe and well. God Bless.

                Morning!:)

That's good news @moyra , hopefully just a few more tweaks and you'll have it working perfectly.:dbgrtmb:

Off for a days gardening at my Dad's today, hope to clear and tidy around his big pond. Won't have a time to do it for the next couple of weeks.
                Have an enjoyable day everyone.:)

@moyra My back isn't too bad, thanks :blue thumb: I hope you're feeling better. :) I gave up working on removing the ShineyFrames after two hours as there was too much bending required.

Keep well and have a great day

                        Morning everyone.

Had a very busy day yesterday in my Dad's garden and managed to get loads done, filled the wheelie bin and two huge garden sacks with spent plants and prunings .
Pouring down with rain now and I think it's set in for the day.
Have to pack my bags as hopefully my sister will be discharged into my care today,
Dr does his rounds early so just waiting to hear from her.
She was very lucky as both of her recent operations were done in the lovely local private hospital under the NHS.

                        Have a good day everyone.:spinning:

                            Morning @moyra :)

Yes my Dad does have a very large garden . It was my Mum's pride and joy ,she loved being out in it . Sadly since we lost her 14 yrs ago it has suffered, despite my Dad employing various gardeners.

Thanks ,my sister came out of hospital yesterday afternoon . She can't move or do anything and is obviously still in a lot of pain but is pleased to be home.:) I didn't get to bed until nearly 3am but thankfully fell asleep straight away:)

Hope things are OK with you and that you have a relaxing weekend.:spinning:
