      Aloha everyone,

@Upsydaisy I hope your migraine has eased up :grphg:

I got a lot done in the garden yesterday but, sadly, didn't get a lot of important paperwork done because of it.

The sun is up and I shall spend the next few hours on paperwork despite the garden calling. :noidea:

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

                    Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl best wishes for a speedy recovery. :grphg:

I've been tied up in bureaucratic red tape for a lot of the day  but still managed to get some gardening done :blue thumb:

We've just received some nice invitations from friends. Two lunch invites and a 90th birthday celebration.

I'm working on the menu for the weekend when we have a friend of Mrs Shiney coming, with her family. I've only met them once before. They have two adopted teenage boys that were a bit of a handful for some years but are settling down much better now. One of the boys loves spicy food and the other hates it! A good start for working on a menu.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

WOO, Sorry to hear you are going through a rough patch and as to being brexited out I think a good few of us are suffering from over brexiting. I cannot believe so many MPs can be so single minded and not care how their constituents are feeling. I hope you feel better soon, take care, God bless.

Morning all, hope you start to feel better soon WOO. Have you decided on your menu yet Shiney?

Going for a walk this afternoon with my farmer neighbour friend which should be nice. This morning I'm going to make some kind of bird suet ball (I was supposed to be looking up the recipe but got distracted by the forum).

Have a lovely day everyone :)

                            Aloha everyone,

                            @Snorky85 Yes, nothing too complicated.

Cream of cauli, broccoli and courgette soup - done with coconut milk and veggie stock. Should only take about 15-20 minutes to make. :blue thumb:

Roast chicken done with a touch of garlic and herbs, crispy roast potatoes (using King Edwards, of course ), stir fried veg (finely sliced onion, garlic and ginger fried off and then stir fried with carrots, courgette, mangetout, French beans and mushrooms and a hint of black pepper, and finished with some veggie stock granules dissolved in hot water and tossed in it and steamed for three minutes) plus some lightly spiced rice.

Apple crumble (gluten, dairy and sugar free) using some of our own apples (Peasgood nonsuch, Edward VII and Charles Ross) topped with ground almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Plus chocolate pots made with 85% chocolate, whole milk and brandy.

Keep well and have a great day

                            Aloha!

@shiney .....what time's best for me to arrive? :heehee: Sounds delish! I used to cook all the time but the last year or so I'd lost my passion and kept to the basics...but last couple of weeks I've been back on it. Did a very nice spanish pork in my slow cooker the other day. YUM!
