Pruning Raspberries

I have just cut down my raspberry plants just all the old one's.There are quite a few young one's growing a couple must be about 12" tall do I leave them or do I cut them down as well.

Are we talking Summer or Autumn varieties ?

 

They are Autumn Bliss which is a Autumn variety

 

You cut everything down to ground level 'in winter'. Before February.

 

Agree with @noisette47 , though you could let a few of those 12" tall shoot grow on and they will likely give some summer fruit as well as the new autumn fruiting shoots that come up in spring.

Believe there is little difference between summer and autumn types, just that the Bliss can give good fruit late in the seasons if forced to fruit on the new years growth.
