@Retired those hearts look lovely.

 

Sunny and a gentle breeze temp 4c down to -1 tonight.
But at least it's not raining.

 

It is hovering around the freezing point and the snow has not started yet. Instead we are getting a nice thick layer of ice as a base before the snow starts Snow is easy to clear but the ice is going to make it a miserable job.

The windows all look pretty with all of the ice on their surfaces. And it is comforting to know that the windows are doing a good job of insulating things else the ice would melt

 

Sunny until mid afternoon then clouded over. A cold light Northerly wind kept the temperature down to 8c, but had an enjoyable walk around Poole park lake and the quay.

 

We have no snow forecast at the moment @CanadianLori and I don't want to see it this side of the new year. I have a long drive before then.

Still frosty this morning but it cleared as the day progressed. Sunny until mid afternoon when those 'orrible grey clouds started to reappear. 3C/37F

 

Well, a cloudy start, followed by some really good sunshine, it clouded over around 3.30pm and we had a shower.
I seem to always get things wet around here before a freeze at night.

5C max but it was a 3C start.

 

-6c hard frost but cloud rolling in

8am and daybreak just arriving in the valley; another frost but no Blackie so no complaints at least I can move around with chattering teeth and not receive another soaking. Things are looking up at last.

It is 10c with a sharp gusty wind giving a real feel of 5 but going to 17c. The cats don't like being out in this ... I don't like being out in this but have Dentist this afternoon.

 

After a hard frost last night the blue skies and sunshine are back for another promising day. High of 7C with a low of -1.

Bron and I have just returned from Sheffield; brilliant sunshine which I'm not used to made driving dangerous; come back Blackie and give up messing around. Still cold but a gorgeous day; another 25C on top of the 5C we have would make it a really nice day.
