Just portioned up the rest of the Turkey and stuffing and put it in the freezer for our Sunday dinners.
We can get back to our normal dinners now.

@Logan I took down my indoor decorations on Boxing day, and I'll be going out in a little while to take down the lights, the wreath, the bell ornaments on the door and the inflatable decoration on the lawn. The inflatable is a Santa in an orange muscle car with snowmen fast lane crew.

I just put away the last of the chafing dishes from today's brunch and other than the decoration removal, I'm doing as little as possible for a bit.

My granddaughters will be back up in an hour or so to hang out with Gramz.

The last family members have just left after a hectic but enjoyable all day 'open house ' buffet.
Love family get togethers esp when older members come along too. Its my Aunt's 87th birthday tomorrow, so it was a double celebration!!

Decs may come down tomorrow or the day after.

Then it will be ......seed sowing!!! Well only a few.....;)

@Upsydaisy that's great about your aunt, I've got a aunt in Birmingham she must be older. :)

I've been thinking about seed sowing as well.

A visit to hairdressers. This is a proper pain to any introvert, but being both a Finn and an introvert it's a seriously challenging task. Scientific reference

So here we go. Taking my seat in the chair not unlike the dentist's one.

So what are we having today love?
A wash and a cut please.

OK, do you have any ideas for the cut, it's nearly spring so perhaps you'd like to freshen things up a bit....
No, just an inch off all around please.

OK. (wash, snip, snip) So are you doing anything tonight...?
                        no.

Do you have any holidays planned...?
                        no.

Your daughter must be quite grown up now, how old is she again...?
                        18.

Now how does that length look to you, do you want me to take it up a bit or is that fine...?
                        It's just right, erm, marvellous!

Now what do you think of the layers here...?
(having no opinions whatsoever on layers I just praise them as they are)

Then after a five minute session of mutual praise and hard core tipping (I must be the best tipper ever as the sense of escaping The Chair for another 8 weeks lifts my mood into a proper euphoria, closely connected with loosening of purse strings)

                        And I'm done :hapfeet:

Mostly household chores. Laundry, cleaning, baking etc.

I have some friends who moved out of province years ago and the wife and I always get together for breakfast when she is town. Their 2 sons still live in my town. One son is going through nasty chemotherapy sessions and they asked if I teach them how to grow their own cannabis and make their own CBD oil for the ill one to help with his reactions to the therapy. The well one just left a little while ago. He's a keen gardener so I gave him a dozen seeds for them to start their own. Then I gave him my CBD oil making instructions, a half ounce of weed and some cheese cloth for straining the oil. So that will get them started making their own medicinal stuff. I did make a batch of CBD fudge for him to take and also gave him some of my oil as well. If nothing else, it will give them something to work together. I hope it helps :fingers crossed:

Went to see my friend Keith to do some card making. Also sorting out the cutting dies that he's got.

Due to the high wind rattling through the garden I refilled the Bird Feeders and then spent the afternoon in the Green House potting on 7 new Sarracenias that had arrived. I can't help inspecting the borders looking for the shoots now popping up out of the soil,............along with a lot of weed seedlings:wallbanging::gaah:
