All looking good @NigelJ ... love the leaf markings. Do you have a lot of land?

@Victoria the plot is about a third of an acre. The garden is roughly P shaped with a row of trees at the side of the house, taking up the leg of the P.

Viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn' just starting to flower, seems a bit late this year. Erica carnea and Lonicera fragrantissima almost in full flower, I'm a bit disappointed that the latter has retained most of its leaves because I love the look of the dainty flowers on bare branches. Jasminum nudiflorum hasn't been pruned for about 4 years and it's really showing this year, an absolute tangled mess with very few flowers! :heehee: Will give it a good prune in Spring.

@NigelJ Your hellebores are lovely, do you do anything in particular with them? The flowers on mine seem to go straight from bud to tatty rags with no inbetween, especially the white ones.

@2nd_bassoon I do nothing special with the hellebores, I remove the flowers when they are done and the leaves come off late autumn and they get mulched and a bit of growmore from time to time like the rest of the flower beds. They are early this year, a couple of months probably. The white one has short stems no more than 6 inches.

I've just realised I posted this in the old thread.

Not exactly in the garden but I sowed Chiastophyllum Oppositifolium seeds in a tray today that I collected from the garden. A trial to see if they will germinate after a 'wintering' spell outside.

You're doing really well with that one @JWK, I've always struggled with daphnes! :blue thumb: I've thought about getting that cultivar a couple of times, but I'm not sure it would be hardy here in Notts.
