        Hi,

        Thanks for asking Logan. :dbgrtmb:

        Such a long list I like; here's a few;

Just a few; I'm like you Logan not keen on Elvis. Bron likes David Cassidy & The Partridge Family her favourite is James Taylor; Dido is playing on the TV via YouTube as I type. We can't stand rapping or jazz and modern songs are forgotten as soon as heard. There's a Virgin ad running at the moment with a whining kid making a noise; I could brick our telly every time it comes on.

I created playlists on YouTube of songs we like and Bron has her favourite list running; here's a sample list.

        Colin 1 - YouTube

        Kind regards, Colin.

A lot of brilliant ones there Colin. I had forgotten all about Enya, have some of her cds. Saw the Love Affair live when I was 14/15.:dbgrtmb:

Love Louis Armstrong. When I visited the jazz museum in New Orleans I really enjoyed listening to his music and the other artists.

I like Enya as well. Reminds me of a modernish Gymnopedie style. :)

Edit: and I always like Lady in Red, The Farmer Song, The Lumberjack song too

I have that trouble, I've only got to touch the video as I scroll up or down, it doesn't have to be on the play arrow that's in the middle. Never done it before until yesterday.

@Retired that's a great play list, like them all and some I've got. Like you i don't like the music that's around now. But I do like, when they were around George Michael and Queen and of course the Carpenters. Started to buy their records from 1975.
When i was growing up never really had a favourite, only bought the songs that i like.
@Upsydaisy yes this thread is going well, didn't think that it would be so popular.

I left school in 1972 when i was 15, got my first job so i thought that i would buy this because I just left school.

Also I bought this trying to see if i liked that sort of music, but my older brother liked it more than me.

I do like a bit of Alice Cooper though.

She has good taste with liking James Taylor

Carole King wrote the brilliant song 'You've Got A Friend' and they perform it together, here

Carole has to be one of the best, or the best, female songwriter/performers there is. :blue thumb: She performed in the Summer Festival in Hyde Park three years ago at the age of 74

She has written dozens of hits for other singers as well as for herself and has a big stack of awards.
