      Loved Cat Stevens too ,have several of his albums. Tea For The Tillerman, Teaser And The Fire Cat and Catch Bull At Four, loved them so much that I have since bought them on CD.

            Hi,

            So many wonderful songs/videos to choose from. Bron and I watch our favourites over and over again never tiring of them; songs like Wonderful World bring a lump to my throat and unlike many modern songs Wonderful World is for life. :dbgrtmb:

            We have a number of YouTube lists where many songs are repeated but with a few changes between them. Bron enjoys Duran Duran; I do too but they produce some weird videos. George Michael was a great singer but what a loser in real life. We enjoy some of the Beatles but once they started with Yellow Submarine they lost the plot but then drugs don't help a great deal.

            The Beach Boys we watch over and over but one of their videos includes Bob Hope which to us spoils it.

            Rod Stewart is a favourite; this is brilliant;

            Here's a bikers anthem from long ago meaning a lot to me; my fellow apprentice Terry at Wakefield Tech traded in his Lambretta and Bought a Norton Dominator 600cc shortly afterwards he was killed when a horse jumped out of a field killing him; another biker friend from my mill days Barry was beheaded in an altercation with a road tanker; I was one of his coffin bearers; five mates lost to motorcycles; my best friend Ken was dragged into a huge carding machine in the mill and killed too.

            Another bikers song of course is this one;

            What a plonker on the bike and what an hairstyle the lead singer has.

            Here's another gem;

            Enough rambling on for now; I did the shopping very early this morning so I can play in my workshop today destroying the planet as I practice TIG welding. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

            Kind regards, Colin.

                            I have a list of songs/ music that I want played at my funeral....trouble is that it has now grown sooooo long that it will have to be a week long !!

                            I don't want any sermon or talking ,it has to be all music.:dbgrtmb:

                              Maybe that's another thread - songs at a funeral. Cheery thought eh ? A family friend had music only at his funeral.

                              I have a few lined up for mine. The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver by Elbow being one of them
