    If I plant them now, will they flower this year? Or should I have planted them in the autumn?

    I fell in love with them last year when a few of you posted pictures of yours.

    @Sienna's Blossom I would plant ASAP if practical. I grow a relative Nectaroscordum tripedale (Allium tripedale) and these are coming through now about 6" high.
    In a ditch on a back road near Totnes there is a patch of naturalised Nectaroscordum siculum.

      From a few years ago Nectaroscordum tripedale

      Stem is about 3ft tall, foliage smells unpleasantly when bruised.
