    Yes same here it all kicks off then with starting winds speeds of 50 mph then steadily increasing throughout the day. Certainly blow all the cobwebs away!?

                  Yesterday was very mild and sunny. The wind arrived here about 1 a.m. and I had a wander round the garden at 5 a.m., with the outside lights on and a torch, to check if I had missed any of the tidying up when I checked it yesterday. I've put a bag of compost on the feet of the big bird feeder. The wind was/is very strong but no rain yet and still quite mild.

                              FCAF7ADB-31EB-42EC-A187-D0B6ED5ECE52.jpeg Very very windy here but amazed to see the magpies still trying to fly in it, albeit close to the ground. Squizzers been out sat on the top of the fence and he’s managing to hold on.

                              The wind howling woke us up in the night, but then our bedroom is effectively in the roof of our house so to be expected.

                              Light rain has started with the wind now-don’t think it has been raining very long as there aren’t any puddles yet.
