Severe gales as forecast in excess of 70mph since 9am, lost a couple of fence panels so guess what I will be doing tomorrow?

Oh dear, not good. It's certainly been a bit breezy down here near the coast hasn't it.

That's why hubs removed a couple of our panels..the same that came down last time !!
Our previous neighbour put them up ( we paid half)....and he made a right hash up. Hubs and our present neighbour are going to do a proper job of it in the spring.:dbgrtmb:

A top temperature of 54f, a rain total of 7.8mm which was less than I thought it would be!
The winds, recorded on my Garden Weather Station, got up to 37mph which will move quite heavy things. My fences are made of 6' lengths of 2" X 4" of timber dropped horizontally between the concrete posts so there's no damage there. Right now the temperature is 46f and the pressure reading is 962f.:cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

Well we had torrential rain and part of the patio was under water and really strong wind. At least one fence panel is down and the whole lot is wavering back and forth. Our neighbour owns the fence but he doesn't bother repair any of it and he is totally unapproachable

It's gone quiet down here now. I think it has exhausted itself now. Hope it stays quiet over night,

I'm glad to hear everyone is okay even though your gardens have had a bit of a bashing. It wasn't too bad here being much further north. Winds gusted to around 60 mph with little rain. Temperature today 5C/41F. Windy again during the course of this coming week with snow forecast for all but one day.

Had very heavy rain a couple of hours ago, I notice a drip (no jokes please) on the stairs coming from a fan light window, plus the garden arch was taken a bashing.......still I cheered myself up with an Aero choc bar.
