Oooh yes that's the other one I want to see. We saw the David Copperfield one a fortnight ago , a slightly different take on it , but nevertheless quite good. :dbgrtmb:

Good morning everyone,. Have they changed their minds they said yesterday that this was all going to clear up and be nice on Tuesday, I feel cheated if that is not so. Oh well have a good day, wrap up warm and dry and above all stay safe and well.
          God bless.:wub2:

Morning all, all is calm and sunny....for now!
Winds to return later this morning and the rain will be back this afternoon.

Thoughts are with those who are in the flooded areas.

So love to have some snow!!! If it's really wet for you today @Flumpy then it may not settle too much.

Must dash off to the cinema, keep safe and have a good day.:)

                Aloha everyone,

I've been AWOL as we lost all our power for over 24 hours. I'm now assessing the damage from the storm and we shall have a problem with the 70ft poplar that came down! I shudder to think of the cost of removing it as it's right at the bottom of the garden. :hate-shocked: Three quarters of it is in the neighbour's garden and the other quarter is in the farmer's field that is planted with crops already. I shall not only have to get rid of the tree but make good the fence and the neighbour's garden!

More strong wind forecast for today, then easing a bit and coming back again at the weekend.

Keep well and enjoy your day

                Aloha!

Morning all , hope everyone is well today.

Yes tree removal can be a tad pricey @shiney ...Dad had them out on Friday and they've just emailed me..£2750.

Just off to Dad's now to discuss and think about booking it in to be done.

                  Have a fun day!!:glad:

@Upsydaisy how many trees and how far do they have to be taken to the lorry?

One tree completely felled and two lopped by 4m. No distance from the road...in fact they can even park in the drive next to each tree. Seems to be the going rate.
