    @luciusmaximus
    It was the first time I've seen something like that myself. I hear squabbles occasionally and the resident crows will have a go at seagulls that land on my roof, for which I am grateful.
    I presume it was a territorial dispute as the pair flew off to the trees at the side of the house and I generally have at least one sometimes two pairs in the trees there, although the nests are well hidden in the tops. There are also a couple of wood pigeons, as a rule clumsily crashing about.

      @strongylodon Are you participating in the Holton Lee walks? (As I might choose one of those dates for my next visit to Dorset.

      Peregrine Falcon on the cliffs at Durlston Country Park, hunkered down in the gale force winds, I had trouble holding the camera still.

          Common Gull, but not common around here and normally just for the Winter.
          Smallest of our 'white headed' gulls, with a greenish yellow bill rather than all yellow.

                      Lesser Yellowlegs, formerly Lesser Yellowshank but an American bird sometimes blown over by storms as this one was last year and ended up in Weymouth but I never saw it with the other two to complete the traffic lights.:smile:
