We're on a standard rate all the time (negotiated low rate) but put washing machines etc. on when the sun is shining in order to take best advantage of the solar panels. :blue thumb:

Oops ,yep with it now...must be all this wind that has blown my brain about. :roflol: Still be interested to know how you get on though Lori.
We bought the magnetic type years ago but then we were warned that people had their windows broken/ cracked by it , so we have never really used it. We nervously attempted to once but both magnets were so strong that we felt it would damage the old original widows. If both the magnets clamped themselves together it took some strength to prise them apart they were that strong!!!

Oh dear @moyra ,sorry to read your above post. That knee of yours has given you a lot of trouble hasn't it, maybe it's time to hound your GP again or get a second opinion. Rest it as much as you can today, take care.:grphg::hapflower:

Off to town this morning, might even walk it as its so nice out there. Then after lunch I might go and play with my gorgeous little
great nephew.....That's the initial plan anyway but as is the norm....things will probably change.:heehee:

                    Have a great day.:spinning:

                      Good day,
I decided to take care of the delightful chore of cleaning the loos :rolleyespink: before sitting down and coming here to see how everyone is. Another dirty job out of the way until next week.

@moyra it is so sad to hear about your knee problem. It is so frustrating when things hurt and then also slow you down!

@Upsydaisy I decided to wait until the weather is a little warmer to try it out as I wanted it mainly for the outside of the windows. I have no problem cleaning the inside and out of the main floor windows and the inside of the second floor but I hate ladder work and won't come up to the second storey to wash the outside. I've had people take care of it in the past but after getting ripped off in the fall, I figured I'd better do something to take control of the issue. When the weather starts getting nice again, I'll do the outsides and put the insect screens back in. I washed the screens before putting them away in the fall so it will be fast work :blue thumb:

It snowed last night and now we are receiving a thorough soaking with rain and hovering around freezing. I am taking someone to their physio at the hospital this morning and since there is only maybe 4 inches of snow, it will be no problem. Whilst they are in getting their limbs pulled upon, I'll make a dash to do a little shopping. No point in going out a third time.

Cheers everyone and please play safe!

                        Morning everyone!

@moyra I hope you had a better nights sleep last night and that your pain had eased or you've got an appointment with your GP booked :dbgrtmb:.

Bit of a grey looking day today, dry at the moment but rain is on it's way.

                              Good day
The sun is trying to peak around the clouds and is giving me hope that it will be a bright day. Constant gloom gets on my nerves.

Nothing exciting going on around here which is good. At least it means nothing bad happened!

Have a good day all and please play safe :)
