      The eu budget talks collapsed today and the ever-helpful Emmanuel Macron said it showed "we don't need Britain to show disunity".

          "French President Emmanuel Macron has said he is "not sure" a UK-EU trade deal will be struck by 31 December, the end of the Brexit transition period."

          Well, I'm 100% sure that there will be a deal - either negotiated or WT0 - I'm convinced that the EU still think that Boris is bluffing about 31st December.

            I'm pretty sure there will be no deal too Mr Macron - largely due to you lot blaming Britain for everything before negotiations have even started, fomenting bad blood in the press and generally acting like petty imbeciles. Just get on with it!!

              So, are we presuming Macron is the mouthpiece of the EU?

                Plenty of countries involved Pete but any of them can veto the deal; there's a few 'main' countries as major contributors, France being one, and they appear to have the biggest say. In the end, it's all 'meh' as we all know how politicians behave.

                                When it was first known Britain was leaving the EU three other countries said they may follow suit. They were Italy, Holland and....right now I can't think of the third, a senior moment has claimed it. :doh::biggrin:
