                          Ravens are bigger with a much larger beak (compared with above Crow pic) and when flying the tail is diamond/wedge shaped compared to the fan shape of a Crow. Plumage is more iridescent. The throat feathers often stand out on a Raven. Their call is more of a nasal honk or 'cronk', Crow's are a cawing sound.

                          This, although a US one in Arizona, shows the shaggy throat feathers.

                              We've had three crows in the garden for about 14 years. For most of that time the three of them were always together. Over the last year one of them hasn't been around as much and was totally missing for a month. :scratch: I've never seen any of them preening each other but it may be that they're nervous this close to a house.
