Looks like cars will now be exempt from the MOT for 6 months - starting 30th March. At least we have the reassurance that our car is roadworthy - the MOT was done yesterday.

I hope people don't take advantage and drive un-safe vehicles on the road.

 

Well, that gives an indication how long this state of affairs may go on for, a lot longer than the 3 or 4 weeks some people are suggesting.

As of today there's 394 concluded tests, 23 confirmed cases, one in hospital. The population of the island currently stands at just over 90,000.

 

Is this just a sense of false security or a glimmer of hope?

Yesterday there were 1,427 new cases, today 187

Yesterday there were 87 deaths, today 13.

I don't know where you got your wonky figures from .

Todays update is 43 UK deaths taking the total to 465. This is the lowest daily death rate since 17 March.

However, new cases have risen by 1452 taking the total to 9529. This is the highest daily increase so far.

 

I have a neighbour who is still running his hockey/excercise gym out of his house! I've emailed the local MP and hopefully they'll get him to stop. These are hockey people who spit whenever they can to show their macho steroid infused attitude.
