Solved Unknown shrub with dark purple flowers

    As per the title.

    Has a white stigma and the plant itself has a scent (lemon/peppery)

    Any ideas ?

      I imagine it is a Lemon Sage, member of the Salvia family.

            Perfect, thanks! Definitely a salvia. I don't know which of your suggestions it is, as they all look similar online. This one so far though has flowers apart from each other. Not bunched as those varieties show. Happy with the answer provided. Thanks again.
