Water feature has been put back together and 2x2 slabs put down in the path along with grass seed. Now just need to sit back and watch the grass grow

thank you. I like to re-use things like the Belfast sink I think I got the idea from someone else on here. The solar powered pump is quite good the only down side is that if it is cloudy it just pulses water rather than being a constant flow but it doesn’t cost anything to run.

The grass is coming through nicely been about 10 days since I put the grass seed down a few bare bits but some signs of it filling out. I also received my Belle de Crecy so I have planted that in a big wooden planter in the corner of the seating area. I’m still awaiting my tri-colour hibiscus tree from gardening express not sure when it will arrive has been 16 days from ordering just have to be patient

Decided to put in a small veg plot in the garden with some vertical structure for tomatoes, runner beans and cucumber. I have sown 2 rows of carrots and 1 row each of lettuce, turnip and broccoli. Start small this year and then if we take to it we can extend it next year. Also picking up a metal lean to greenhouse up tomorrow from my mums once I have cut her grass for her. Then I will be able to start more veg in the greenhouse ready to be put in the plot once I am able to harvest what is in there.

Well the greenhouse I acquired from my mum is installed. There was only one place for it but it will receive sun in the morning from sunrise until about 1 and then for a couple of hours on an evening. There is some green staining on one of the plastic panels that doesn’t want to come off I have tried a scouting pad and elbow grease. Any suggestions?

That's strange, that just those two panels are like that?

Just wondering, polycarbonate that I have have used in the past has always had one side to the outside, being UV stable only on the one side.
Just a thought that it might have been installed initially round the wrong way.

Thanks for the reply it’s actually just one piece I guess that my father installed it the wrong way around. It is quite old and so I’m sure it will still work as intended. If it bothers me too much I’m sure I will be able to get a replacement piece from somewhere

Been a little busy I have planted out two tomato plants. The Veg is coming through nicely in my little plot. I have Cucumber seedlings in the greenhouse. I have sowed some Echinacea green twister and Rudbeckia Goldsturm, which if they germinate and grow will be planted out ths year. I know they might not flower this year but will be a nice addition next year. Someone was throwing out a tall garden ornament that spins and turns in the wind so I decided to rescue it. I have also received my Tri-colour Hibiscus tree which is now planted out. My first Iris has opened. I also installed a small waterbutt to supply the greenhouse with water IMG_3402.JPEG IMG_3403.JPEG IMG_3418.JPEG IMG_3424.JPEG IMG_3428.JPG IMG_3430.JPEG
