Yesterday hubby cleaned the kitchen window and the porch glass, he started doing that since we had the windows replaced, I wonder how long it will last. When we had the bathroom replaced he kept it clean apart from cleaning the toilets that's my job, but that's stopped now.

I've just upset hubby, he had the tv on watching a video on YouTube about this virus. I was watching YouTube on my phone playing a different video and he couldn't hear his video.

Took kids to park for a bike ride and ran not 2 of my mates I haven’t seen for nearly 2 months. Good to see them, although felt strange not being able to give them a hug as I normally would on a Friday night in the pub.

Washed some of the boys bedding, pulled 11 lb of rhubarb and cooked it to put in the freezer.

Don't believe the papers when they say that we're going to start reducing the lockdown by doing this and that it's not true.

Yesterday Barley had a tummy bug and this morning when we came down he did a very soft poo earlier on the mat. Through the night hubby kept checking to see that he was ok and he was until later. He'd been licking the grass the day before so wasn't surprised for him to be like that.

We've started having Zoom meetings with cousins. We normally meet up with a dozen of us for dinner and supper at one of our houses four times a year. We're now having fortnightly Zooms and they're going well.

We decided to expand it to other cousins and hold those fortnightly as well. So we're Zooming every Sunday late afternoon.

We had the expanded Zoom yesterday and it was utter chaos with 42 of us (from around the world) having logged in. :hate-shocked:

Spent the day quietly reflecting on things. It was the anniversary of Mum's death and as Dad has been fading fast over the last couple of weeks together they stirred up many poignant memories of our happy shared times as a whole family.

I used to use Seville oranges but can only get them in January, if you can get them at all. I use just ordinary oranges and lemons. I usually have 5 oranges and 5 lemons. Divide it to make 2 batches. I use the pressure cooker to cook them in and the base to re boil and set it. Can use a combination of grapefruit, oranges and lemons. I did a lemon batch once but hubby didn't like it.

You can get tins of sliced Seville oranges from some supermarkets and of course Amazon.
I've made both grapefruit and lemon marmalade in the past, flavour is alright but the pith can be quite thick relative to the peel with both of these.
