        Symphytum is correct.
You can see the dangling purple flowers in your pics.

See ...Post 3 Macraignil said ...."Looks more like comfrey (Symphytum) to me."
Post 4 ....Martyn said....."I'm now wondering if it's a weed called Green Alkanet"

I was merely confirming first answer above by Macraignil.

P.S. Martyn..these pics are pics to show you Pulmonaria.

People do sometimes mistake Symphytum, Pentaglottis and even borage so it's wonderful that we have experts such as @Silver surfer to give definitive answers. :blue thumb:

Totally agree Shiney. I highly respect Silver Surfers knowlege, and hope that my previous post was not misunderstood. No offence was intended.

Green alkanet is covering the garden next door. Soon it will be in most of the local gardens.

Absolutely no offence taken Mike..just clarifying things.
Agree green alkanet is an invasive pest.
                  Thanks Shiney..you are too kind.Blush.

There are a few different plants in the photo you posted. The one with the seed heads near the middle looks to me like wood avens (Geum urbanum).

                      Snap!

To the right of the Wood Avens is Snowberry Snowberry | NatureSpot a shrub that will spread unless controlled.
