I know its not strictly an alpine, but Corydalis blue dragon is one of my favorites. And in flower now. IMG_20200314_092909.jpg

                    I love Flashing Light, @kindredspirit , it's such a striking colour.

Do you replenish your dianthus at all? I find mine do brilliantly for the first year, ok for the next two, and then die/disappear completely. I've tried collecting seed but never been successful in propagating any.

I have a few Rockroses in my garden which I often take indoors and put in a small vase also added Buttercups which compliment each other. And if you dont have small vases you can upcycle spice jars.

No. I find that they're a little bit erratic. Diminish in one place (but never die out) and self seed elsewhere. Overall, their population has doubled in the garden in 10 years.

                            Hi @CarolineL

I buy the blanks from The Essentials Company online and get a local printer to produce the weatherproof labels.

Loving this thread, some amazing plants and gardens, thanks everyone for sharing. I’m in the uk and am hooked on alpines, sempervivum especially at the moment. There’s 2 types specifically I’m looking for at the moment, a winter hardy cacti type, ball shaped or traditional wonky cactus, ideally to go in a trough. The other something for good winter interest- ideally colour. Does anyone have any suggestions and pictures that could help for my next shopping spree? All advice welcomes :)
