Hi, I’m a bit of an amateur gardener and have just been gifted a Physocarpus ( Lady in Red) plant. Is it okay to keep it in a container or do I have to plant it?
    Please help... thank you
    It’s about 3ft

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Lynne. :) It's mature height is 1.5 metres - 4 to 5 feet. I would suggest trying it in a large pot but if it looks as if it's suffering as it reaches full height then it would be best to plant it in the ground.
