Morning, I’ve got about 10 newly potted succulents from propagation and they were in the garden to get a bit more sunshine, but the thunderstorms came overnight and there all soaked ‍♀️ Should I leave them as the are as it’s meant to be very hot again this afternoon, or should I try reporting into dry cactus soil that I have?

    Hi,

We would say no, just leave them outside so the water can drain away naturally.
If you used the proper free draining compost mix, it shoud be fine.

We put a pot of succulents outside a month ago and they got drenched several times, yet they look better than ever.

Would suggests repotting will cause even more root damage.

Thanks so much. That was my gut instinct but haven’t had much luck before now with propagation and didn’t want to ruin the hard work. Fingers crossed. It’s already really sunny and warm here so shouldn’t take long to dry out

If the wet continues for more than a few days I'd consider bringing them under cover, but for a while they will be okay.
