    It's a mullein moth big caterpillars will strip a verbascum or mullein very quickly. What have you found it on?

      ps Should have said the moth is small and brown.

        Thank you :blue thumb: it's chomping my Toadflax, Linaria purpurea, stripping it quite quickliy. I haven't spotted any on my verbascums yet.

          I've spotted them on Linaria as well this year.

            I've decided to sacrifice some of my Linaria for them and pick them off others. I'm quite pleased to have some moths.
