    Indeed! The rough-sleepers will know that not only have they something to keep them safe, it was made with love, and attention to detail, rather than “quick as anything, cheap as chips”. That means at least as much as the safety, comfort and protection that they will provide...

      When I finally stopped trading ( 74 was too old for 12 hour days outside in all weathers) my remaining stocks went to Canada; about 20 really lovely long warm scarves, dozens of hat,,, Usually we have to consider that they have nowhere to wash eg woollen items so it tends to be acrylic which is easy care, but that year it was vintage mohair.
