I'm planning to make her some more summer tops. I picked up some lovely fabrics that have plenty of light turquoise which is her favourite colour. I've already made her two sleeveless tops but I don't want to make any more until I find out if these fit her or not. My son is allowed to go see her tomorrow night so I'll send one along to find out if it is near the correct size. I also picked up some heavier fabric with gold glitter to make her a tunic top or something a little dressy.

After two years of a leaky shed roof I decided it needed refelting, the shed its self is 60 yrs old.

Anyway bought the felt and and the sticky stuff about a month ago, been putting it off as its a hot old job.
Got it all out today and made a start, it was supposed to be warm but not very warm, so ideal.

Anyway the felt was middle of the road stuff, not top grade but not the cheapest either, when I unrolled it, it was nowhere near as thick as the stuff I used last time.
Hope it lasts me out, I dont want that job again, I was sweating buckets and half the time the felt was too hot to lean on, in full sun.

@shiney so sorry to hear about your foot, hope that it gets better soon. :)

Fridays hubby always go to Morrisons to get bread and eggs, this week it was a dozen eggs instead of just 6.He always check them to see that they are ok, i started to put them in the fridge but one of them broke and all of the egg went into the shelves in the door, it was the bottom of the egg and it wouldn't have been visible until it had been moved. So i cleaned all the fridge out, it needed it but not today.

Well brother didn't turn up ( he has a memory problem ) , so as the cake was for all 3 of us ( hubs and me as well ) we lit 2 of the 3 candles and extinguished them by wafting our hands about ( no blowing:nonofinger:) and ate our 'share ' sending the rest over to my brother tomorrow. Sadly I did remind him at lunchtime....but never mind, it's the thought that counts. Thanks big sis:wub2:

This morning defrosted the downstairs freezer
20200727_073930.jpg I put 2 towels on the floor and hubby got the heavy shelves out and put them on the towels
20200727_073520.jpg I covered them with a lot of blankets to stop everything from defrosting
20200727_073911.jpg The top part is worse than the rest, here's the afterwards

Oh my gosh, don't envy you that horrid job!!:yikes: That's definitely one job I don't miss doing.....can't even remember when I last had a freezer that needed defrosting. I just wipe mine out each time a shelf gets a bit low.

Busy day. Housework and seed sowing this morning.
After cooking and eating dinner this afternoon we viewed a house then went on to the garden centre for a browse. Stocked up with more MPC.
