Delighted with first ever batch 'Carolus' Potatoes but...

    I'm delighted with first ever batch of 'Carolus' potatoes 20200809_135151.jpg
    but not sure about this one :noidea:.

    Hi eddybaby, they look lovely and will taste great with a large blob of butter. That I believe is scab, scrape or cut off.

      Potatoe scab is common on many of todays varieties. I'd suggest peeling before cooking. Also although in it's early stage, it's considered harmless, apart from the appearance. However as a result of extended storage, when cut open there may be evidence that the spud has become damaged inside. Cut away the affected parts prior to cooking.
