Mimosa best time to prune

    Hi Guys,

    Best time to prune mimosa I have in a pot in the garden lives in the greenhouse ovet winter its going a bit leggy

      I prune after flowering, gives it time to make new growth to hopefully flower next year.

          Just dont prune back too hard into leafless growth, but I dont think you would do that anyway.:smile:

            the thing is Pete its very leggy, I have cut two out of the 5 branches so not to shock it

                hey guys *update* sorry no photo cable on my camera broken , from a leggy plant it has now turned into a bushey plant , when I cut it I thought nnoooo but within 4 weeks new buds appreared and i put in a shaded part of the garden and a feed of tomato fertiliser once a week ....
