Well, it's really the Meteorological that, to me, Victoria, that defines the Seasons and that defined by the date I said.:dunno::love30::cat-kittyandsmiley:

It's still Summer in Shineyland :blue thumb:

Mid 20's and sunny both days - but cold nights. Forecast rain tonight and 20C tomorrow and sunny for all the next fortnight apart from one day. Will they have got it right - I wouldn't hold my breath! :nonofinger:

Personally I think in Britain the meteorological seasons better fit the weather than than the old ones.
Summer not starting until the end of june is a bit odd to me, likewise September always comes on time with cold nights, even if it does often warm up a bit after the beginning of september it does very often change the weather.

As for "mid summers day" being the 24th June?????????

Well I'm not allowing autumn here just yet. My Plumeria has got flower buds getting ready to open, so it's still summer until further notice :hapfeet::yahoo::hotsun:

Whenever the dates are the seasons aren't definable anymore. :doh:This years weather here has been a repeat of last year. Summer in April and May, June and July cold and wet - so more like Spring. August was mostly dry but temperatures were lower than normal.
