    Hi guy
I can't believe I've been so silly today. I was weedkilling my patio this morning before work and saw a couple of plants which looked like they needed bug spraying..... Did I get the bug spray. NO! Stupid me spray them with the weedkiller spray which was in my hand.. It wasnt until I smelt the weedkiller all over the plants that I realised my big boo boo. I really hope I've done the right thing? Ive completely pruned the plants back almost to the roots.Im so angry with myself as the plants were given to me dying and they were flourishing fantastic now after some love and care.
I really hope I've learnt my lesson. Concentrate! Concentrate at all times!!

I accidently over-sprayed with weed killer one time and I quickly rinsed the area with gallons of water. It seemed to rinse it off or at least dilute it enough that it didn't do any harm. I hope your plants survive. :fingers crossed:

Cripes... If the chemical has soaked into the leaves I'd be worried.
I'd have done what Lori says and put the hose pipe to the plants and give them a thorough wash off straight away.
          Fingers crossed for you!

              You've probably done well.
After all, the weed killer would need time to systemically travel down to the roots.
As you've swiftly cut the poisoned top growth off I'd guess that you'll soon see fresh growth

I know a farmer had done something the same

Farmer gets sparyer filled up with roundup, farmer gets called away and forgot what he has done, farmer tells worker to go and spray the rape with xxx, worker goes to get the sprayer and see's it full, thinking farmer got it ready for him to spary the rape, out he goes, few days later 30 acre's of rape dead:biggrin: and worker got the sack
