Re Chinese Lanterns: if the individual lanterns are partially collapsed you can inflate them by blowing in the end. :blue thumb: It's a standard practise used by flower arrangers. :)

@ARMANDII ,..:heehee: that's a consolation,..someone else reminded me of that saying back in the 1960's when a photograph of my group having gone abroad on duty twice ended up with 12 members left out of 36,..they were standing three apart,..i was in the second three,..the front three were dead,..the third three were dead,..and the man on either side of me in the second three were dead,..i was a bad ass back then and for many years later,..so it looks like the saying is true.

I was out in Aden in the late 70's, Phillip, and after one particular day there were 3 of us left out of a room of eight when the FRA joined with the rebel groups FLOSY and NLF and attacked British Forces, so I know that that sort of thing does not leave you.
So remembering all the good folk who aren't here anymore makes me guess the saying is really true, but keeping the memory of them makes me keep straight and going forward.........which is where our passion for plants, our love of our garden, our pets, our friends comes in and keeps us going. Soldier on, my friend, soldier on.:love30::thumbsup:
