I am still wandering around on the opposite side of the river from where i live,..just to get a better view of the river rising and the land becoming less and less.

 

@glengarry23 You are hogging that rain again ...

 

@Victoria ,..lol it sure looks like that,..rain here almost every day,..the Swans are swimming where last week it was a meadow.


Foxy Molly was confused about the road now looking like the Canal.











Cooling the backside.

 

My goodness, you are definitely having more than your share. Guess you wear waders for your walks!

 

I do have chest waders but at present its just short wellies,..Foxy Molly is a bad swimmer her wee feet go like pistons but not getting far,..when i wear the chest waders i have to leave her at home;

Thankfully it didn't rain today,..i was wishing it went your direction .

A huge number of swans in the area just now but alas i noticed the Swallows getting together for their long journey to a warmer climate,..Africa i think.










The Lifeboat had to rescue the Tourist Boat on the left,..its actually in a field and way off the navigation pole nearest to the rescue crew,..i admit its difficult to navigate in the flood water but one is supposed to keep inside the poles not outside them.







The small metal bridge i often post an image of is right where the red arrow is pointing.

 

If its not raining here then it looks like its about to rain,..its half past four in the evening.

 

Keep wishing Philip, we have been forecast two hours of rain on Monday with thunderstorms .. I will believe that when I see it!.

Had a brief walk through dense woodland but Foxy Molly wasn't happy there.








Lots of Foxes in there but it wasn't that,..too many briars underfoot.

 

Images from both sides of the river,..darting to and fro as the river has dropped its level,..someone must have pulled the plug downriver.

 

We had a 10 minute shower this morning, first since one night shower on 4 June. More forecast so maybe we are taking some from you.

 

@Victoria ,..i surely hope you are getting some of our rain as you badly need it,..hard to imagine no rain since the 4th of June,..we have approx 200 days of rain per year

 

Water level is still dropping.
