Leaves are now dry so here’s another attempt. My photography ‘skills’ are not looking great here, are they?!

I can’t see any flowers or berries at the moment but I’m pretty sure that red berries are evident into the winter.
Thanks again for all the replies.

Kevin, Marvelous pics.Excellent detail. Well done. So much better. Many thanks.
        Shows so much detail.

Leaves look to be in a spiral up the stem.
        Very shiny, waxy...evergreen
        Hairy stem.
        No obvious veins...just mid rib.
        Edges slightly hairy.
Tiny point on the very tip of the leaves.

Hmmm! Now all I need to do is id it. Tough.
May need to wait for 2021 for flowers pics...which may very well be miniscule.

Lonicera nitida leaves are opposite which rules it out. LONICERA NITIDA 03-05-2020 12-26-054.JPG

Thank you very much for your continued help. I will keep a close eye out for flowers and berries and get some photos up as soon as any appear.
            Kind regards,
