Hi - we have bought a house and have no experience in gardening but we are quick to learn and have a wonderful garden to transform. We have raised beds, borders, trees, shrubbery and a lovely greenhouse. No idea where to start with it all - I am guessing pictures would help?
Hi RJ, welcome to Gardeners Corner Congratulations on buying a House and having a garden to transform into what you want your garden to be. We have, as I've said many times, members in the GC Gang who are outright beginners to those who are knowledgeable. those who garden from balconies, those with backyards of paving, those who garden with containers, those who have small, medium to large gardens and you will find them all very friendly and willing to give good advice to your questions. Yes, pictures of the garden will help, along with in which direction does your garden face, North?, South?, East?, West?. Is your soil clay, sandy, stony, etc.? It's so good to have a garden of your own and I wish you all the enjoyment that it can, and will, bring.
Welcome to Gardeners Corner Roadjan. It's a good time to settle into you new home with the garden needing very little attention at this time of year. Hopefully you will have some Spring bulbs to look forward too.
A very warm welcome to the forum WOW! your new home sounds great and the garden will soon give you plenty to do. Any problems. Ask away.
