      Ugg boots?

Well I think the UB's aren't the nicest looking boots, but I got some when I was developing Raynaud's (a side effect of some previous meds I was on) and they kept my feet toasty. Now I use them for going out and feeding the birds

            Aloha everyone,

5.25 a.m. I have the car defrosting itself before I go into town shopping.

            See you later :blue thumb:

You're up early @shiney ... I also like to get up early. You can get more done that way.
I haven't visited this thread before. Good morning all

Good morning @Michael Hewett and welcome to Wakey Wakey :)

Going shopping that early helps me avoid other shoppers and, hopefully, coronavirus. :blue thumb: I'm always about early as I never go to bed.

I'm one of those peculiar people that doesn't need sleep. I just have an occasional doze in the armchair and get about two hours in 24. I've been like it all my life. It's not insomnia, which is a problem medical condition, but a natural situation with the body not requiring more sleep. They have, so far, found two different genes that enable the body to not need sleep but I'm sure there are more. I think the two genes are DEC2 and ADRB1 (haven't the faintest idea how they get that designation).

                Keep well

@Upsydaisy the roads were very icy at that time of the morning and some of it must have been frozen fog/mist. The fog wasn't too bad but needed careful driving as the deer are around this week.

Glad you had a safe trip @shiney .
We've had more deer wandering up our lane, in the fields and surrounding woods too . We and our neighbours are well aware of them but lately we've had more people 'discover' our hidden lakes and take up fishing. They turn up in their cars and aren't so cautious driving round all the bends in our lane. :yikes::fingers crossed:

Hi Upsydaisy love your picture :).

update on the house, no date yet as Land registry on our house has been slowing things up, something to do with deeds not being updated, but our solicitor is onto it now, keeping my fingers and toes crossed we are nearly there, it’s been four months now .
                            Have a lovely afternoon :spinning:

We encountered Deed issues too with my parents place and PO's on the trees !!
Considering all the delays and upheavals caused by Covid I'm was surprised how quickly everything went, especially as we had probate too. It was exactly 6 mths from the date my Dad passed away to when the new family were handed the keys. Not bad at all.
Enjoy your afternoon too @Flumpy :spinning:

                                Good day
@Michael Hewett plenty of times I can only get here once a day so I say good day (I'm also 5 hours behind you) and then I gab a little. ;)

It is another grey day. The batteries are not getting fully charged and so the fans and lights in the greenhouse run for only short periods in the evenings. We have been promised a sunny Saturday and Sunday which will be lovely because it will also be about 42f :)

@Flumpy I sure hope they get the paperwork sorted quickly. @Upsydaisy as usual, it is cheering to see your posts and of course, @moyra you always have a pleasant greeting :dbgrtmb:

@shiney I too have some shopping to do. Need to visit the library to scan a document as I still haven't fixed the document feeder on my own 4 in 1. And a place that sells nuts and dried fruits and candied fruits and lots of candies has a 25-50% off sale on from this morning through Sunday so I shall get over there. I have already made a batch of Christmas cake but it just doesn't feel "heavy" enough with fruits so I need to make another batch and dump in a load of them! My old doctor was actually disappointed that given the amount of sweets I eat, I don't have diabetes - the nasty sod. He should have been happy that my body can cope. I only hold back when the scales start telling me to back off the feedbag

Already got 2 loads of laundry done and a couple more will be cycled before I go out.

                                Have a lovely day all.:coffee:
