That's very interesting @shiney, I wish I didn't have to sleep, it's such a nuisance

I did some shopping too, I like to get vegetables in the open air market at a local town on Fridays, they sell them loose so you can get as many or as few as you want, and they seem to stay fresher for longer

No fog or ice here, it's been a lovely sunny day

It must be lovely to see deer roaming around @Upsydaisy

 

It is @Michael Hewett , thankfully our garden is deer proof.

Good morning all, grey and wet day again today, I did want to clear more leafs up but only have the weekend to do it.

Upsydaisy our solicitor told us at the beginning at the latest it should only take 4 months but we do have three in the chain, our buyers are first time buyers and the people we are buying off are moving into a empty property that needs doing up, but at least we’ve still got a property over our heads

That sounds all go,go ,go then Flumpy ours had the added probate + and an issue relating to some shares that my parents had, but all in all everything was dealt with quite swiftly.....all things considered.

This is the first morning in what seems ages, that the skies aren't obliterated with dark clouds. The weather guessers must have got today's forecast right as they said sunny and 40F+ maybe another degree or two.

@Flumpy it sounds like there are lots of circumstances regarding buying/selling a home that can make things unsettled. You must have nerves of steel

I'll get my inside chores done so as to spend part of the afternoon in the greenhouse doing some shelf washing. Sam will come in with me and it will be her job to sit and sponge off the sun bobble heads. We are also sitting down each night for an hour or so before supper and working on a jigsaw puzzle. It's a fun one with lots of brightly coloured front entryways.

Yesterday I bought quite a bit of candied cherries and peel and things for making a new batch of fruit cake and got them for 25% off the regular price. Was a bargain Probably will make the cakes tomorrow morning.

Ha ha I like that picture too, even moreso that the coffee says "Tim Hortons" on it and it's my favourite coffee place in Canada. I'm reminiscing of my trip to BC now... Good thing is that I noticed they're actually opening up a Tim Hortons in Milton Keynes! Yay! Love their hot chocolate...hoping they will to poutine too!
